Co-location centre is a place more like a data centre where the backup data is usually stored and used when needed. The co-location centres not only require physical security to guard the place but also require other protections from natural disasters. Most of the co location centres are air conditioned to control the temperature and humidity in the centres. Usually the temperature is maintained at twenty to twenty five degrees. Humidity can range from forty to sixty percent. Most of the equipments used on colocation hosting centres have a minimal temperature to be maintained, air conditioning helps in this as well. Windows are usually avoided in colocation hosting centres. Though co location centres are for storing data backup we need to take care to protect the place.
